"Gas switches" is how many different mixes this computer can be programmed to switch between mid-dive, mostly relevant for technical/staged-decompression diving. It doesn't tell you which gas types (air, nitrox, trimix) are supported. See Gas types and the product description above for that.

The G3 is Scubapro’s watch-style flagship, built around the same case design as the Aladin line but with a full-color display and a deeper feature set. It’s positioned as a computer that can go from recreational reef dives to CCR and trimix without changing hardware, provided you’re fine planning around battery charges instead of swapping an AA.
